I’ve never heard someone so succinctly describe the fundamental issue with economics and the way it drives our governmental systems. Pollination and the aquifer are perfect examples of things absolutely essential to a human survival not to mention flourishing & comfortable living standards but completely outside the models & factors considered when informing policy and strategy.
